ProStone Granite & Cabinetry Beautiful Updates Await!

With just the mention of the word “home” taking on new meaning over the last year or so, there are endless reasons to want that retreat you enter at the end of the day to be as comfortable and welcoming as possible. And, isn’t the ultimate goal to truly love the space you share with your family?

Make a visit to ProStone Granite & Cabinetry in Winston-Salem, and you’ll find a showroom brimming with styles and options to enhance those two most important areas of your home—the kitchen and bath. It’s the best place to start a makeover for the spaces you live in most!

“We are seeing a huge demand for updates to kitchens and baths in existing homes,” says Manager Ross Edwards. “I think people are spending more time than ever there. Kitchens and baths are still what sell a home, so if you can make that investment, you’ll increase the value of your home. In today’s market, it seems folks are looking for move-in ready homes.”

Not only does impeccable customer service set ProStone apart—their team is full-service, no sub-contractors involved—they also sell clients only the materials they actually use, not the entire slab. They also maintain a stock of around 40 different stones, so your stylish options are endless.

“Most of our installers have worked with us for five-plus years,” says Ross. “You can absolutely be assured of quality work!”

From countertops and cabinets, to sinks and accessories, granite has long been the number one popular choice, but recently, Ross says quartz is taking over the top-selling spot.

“Quartz is not as busy as granite,” he explains. “It is maintenance-free and doesn’t need to be sealed like granite does. Because quartz is manufactured, it can be made to be in solid colors—or mimic the look of marble and have other details added, even a sparkle! Quartz also doesn’t scratch or stain, as marble can.”

While Ross explains they are selling about 65% quartz versus 35% granite, the ProStone staff is also seeing a large demand for whites (both bright whites and creams) and grays.

If you’re considering a remodel, the timetable might resemble something like this: For a countertop re-do, the ProStone team will come out and create a template of your space. Then, approximately two weeks later, they can typically complete the installation. For clients just getting started—and still in the visualizing stage—it’s best to visit the ProStone showroom and bring along a rough drawing of the area they would like updated.

“We can get them a price while they are in the showroom, based on the types of stone they prefer,” says Ross. “Most folks like that, we can give them a price on the spot!”

A team member can also visit your home, measure, and offer guidance on the best look and materials for your space, then ProStone’s software program brings all the elements together to give you a glimpse of your final project.

In business for over 18 years, ProStone Granite & Cabinetry offers their full dedication to a customer’s happiness with the finished product, and their expertise and creative skill is evident from the first moment you visit their showroom!
