This August, friends, family, and loved ones will gather at Oak Valley Golf Club to celebrate the life and legacy of Steve Ford—a beloved husband, father, and friend to many. The Steve Ford Memorial Golf Tournament is more than just a day on the green; it’s a heartfelt tribute to a man who brought joy, strength, and laughter to those around him.

Taking place on Friday, August 15th, 2025, the tournament will be held on Steve’s home course of Oak Valley Golf Club, a fitting backdrop for a day filled with camaraderie, competition, and remembrance. The afternoon will begin with a 1:30 PM shotgun start, and teams from near and far are invited to participate.

Registration is $500 per foursome, with all net proceeds going directly to an education fund for Steve and Shannon’s son, Luke. In keeping with the generous and community-focused spirit Steve embodied, the tournament aims to provide lasting support for Luke’s future.

Players can expect not only a beautiful course and great company, but also a few fun twists throughout the day. Attendees will have the chance to purchase add-ons like mulligans and tee busters at check-in, and competitions for longest drive and closest-to-the-pin will add a lively spirit to the day. Food and beverages will be available on-site to keep everyone energized and hydrated.

Those interested in playing can email [email protected] to reserve a spot. Foursomes will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis, with full payment required at the time of registration. You’ll just need to name a team captain when signing up, and additional player information can be provided closer to the event. If you already know your full team, be sure to include each golfer’s first and last name when registering.
