Horses and the Human Experience

For thousands of years, humans and horses have had a unique partnership. Horses depend on humans for care, feeding and protection. Humans rely on horses for speed and strength. This student-curated exhibit focuses on areas where horses have transformed the human experience.
The American Experiment: Nineteenth Century Prints

This small exhibit features important issues of the time: religion, politics, race, gender and modern life. Featured artists include: Caton Woodville, George Caleb Bingham and Thomas Hovenden.

This exhibit highlights baseball in High Point. Area newspapers have documented baseball in the city since the 1880s.
Warm Water: New Works by Charles Williams

Charles Williams is a contemporary artist from Georgetown, S.C. This exhibit tells the story of five black teens and what reportedly caused the death of Eugene Williams in Chicago. “Warm Water” is a collection of re-narrated works based on the event that sparked the Chicago Race Riot of 1919.
