Mossy’s has been serving the Clemmons community (and surrounding areas!) since 2009, and they have carved a niche for themselves by…not carving a niche.
Manager Bob Bullock said, “Mossy’s is a special place – a neighborhood restaurant built by a great staff and maintained by loyal customers. We cater to everyone including sports enthusiasts…golfers…families…retirees…and everyone in between. We offer good comfort food in a casual atmosphere. We have regulars who dine with us almost every night of the week because of our hospitality and diverse menu.”
For more than a decade, Mossy’s has become known as a great place to hang out – a home away from home for some. Between their great dining room, bar and a heated and covered outdoor dining patio, Mossy’s is a hidden gem in the Triad. And, while Clemmons residents get to lay claim to Mossy’s – they are willing to share.
“We have guests from all over the Triad,” said Bob. “While we have a lot of sports memorabilia in the restaurant, we aren’t exclusively a sports bar – we’re a sports restaurant with a bar as well as 33 HDTVs. So, whether it’s a business meeting for lunch, the family wants to come for dinner, girlfriends want to get together for a night out or someone wants to come have a beer and watch the game – the atmosphere has something for everyone.”
Bob shared, “Our menu includes everything from appetizers to salad to pizza and wings…but we also have traditional entrees, including fresh salmon and fresh chicken tenders. We also serve amazing burgers and sandwiches. Our dessert menu is decadent, and few people can resist our Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet.”
The restaurant also features a huge selection of beers, both on tap and bottled. In addition, they feature a good selection of wines and have a number of signature cocktails they feature. With a full bar, the possibilities are endless.
“We also have live music on occasion,” said Bob. “We love to entertain – after all, we’re in the business of food and hospitality. So, we always encourage our patrons to stay connected with us on social media to learn of upcoming specials, entertainment and special events.
“I have been with Mossy’s for more than nine years,” said Bob. “And, while I can go on and on about the great menu and atmosphere – the heart of our restaurant is our team. We are so fortunate to have a great staff who genuinely cares about our customers and our community. They take pride in their jobs, and it shows. It’s a huge part of the Mossy’s difference.
