Oral healthcare is important for every member of your family, and the newly branded Forsyth Family Dental on Jonestown Road in Winston-Salem is ready to serve everyone under your roof. In addition, they have added a few new smiling faces in their office.
Formerly Moser, Gallisdorfer & Broughton, DDS, Forsyth Family Dental has a new look and offers the same top-of-the-line care it always has for everyone in the family. In conjunction with the rebranding, Sarah E. Simpson, DMD, has joined the dental practice to replace Dr. Alexander Moser, who retired in September 2019.
“We thank Dr. Moser for his many years of dedication to our practice and the patients we serve. Our staff will greatly miss him, and I know his patients will as well,” Dr. Charlotte Broughton said. “With the retirement of Dr. Moser at the end of last year, we decided it was a logical time to rebrand our practice, which will be known as Forsyth Family Dental going forward.”
Dr. Broughton purchased the practice several years ago from Dr. Alexander Moser and Dr. Jeffery Gallisdorfer. When asked why she chose the name “Forsyth Family Dental,” Dr. Broughton explained, “We serve adults and children alike, addressing a variety of dental needs—we like to say we serve the entire family. And our home is right here in the heart of Forsyth County, so it seemed to be a perfect fit. I also like that the name highlights the fact that at Forsyth Family Dental, we are a team, and all of our staff are focused on the dental health of our families and patients. This is a very exciting time for our practice, and we have rolled out our new website and other materials under the Forsyth Family Dental name.”
Forsyth Family Dental employs a team of 19 people, including the dentists, hygienists, assistants, and office staff. Some of our staff members have been at Forsyth Family Dental for close to 40 years. They themselves are a family.
Over the years, Dr. Broughton has continued to grow the practice with the addition of Dr. Elizabeth Corbin, along with a few other staff members. Just recently, Forsyth Family Dental welcomed new dentist Sarah Simpson full time to the office, joining Drs. Charlotte Broughton, Jeffrey Gallisdorfer, and Elizabeth Corbin.
“Our practice is thrilled to welcome Dr. Simpson to Forsyth Family Dental,” Broughton added. “Dr. Simpson is already practicing as part of our team and is accepting new patients, as well as helping to care for many of Dr. Moser’s patients.”
Dr. Simpson was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. After completing her undergraduate degree in biology at East Carolina University, Simpson entered East Carolina University’s School of Dental Medicine, where she received a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2016. She has been practicing outside of Winston-Salem since July 2016. Simpson’s professional affiliations include the North Carolina Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the Forsyth Dental Society, and Spear Study Club.
