The 10th-Annual Clemmons Community Day

It’s a milestone that’s 10 years in the making—the 10th Annual Clemmons Community Day!  What began as a shared idea between local real estate expert, Jody Peske, and former Clemmons mayor, John Bost, Clemmons Community Day continues to offer an annual chance for neighbors, friends, and local business owners to come together and celebrate all that’s great about life in Clemmons!

The Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce organizes Clemmons Community Day.  Ditra Miller, the Executive Director of the Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce, shared, “This is one of the most exciting days of the year for us! We love how Clemmons Community Day brings together families, friends, and neighbors for a day of free fun and entertainment, as well as to see all that Clemmons has to offer!”

After so many years, it can become challenging to keep an annual tradition fresh.  But Ditra shared, “We have some great additions to this year’s event! We’ve worked hard to make sure there is something for everyone to enjoy!”

The entertainment line-up includes “Raymond & Kim.”  These Triad artists have been making beautiful music together since 2005, and are popular vocalists for weddings, festivals, private gatherings, and more!

In addition to music, entertainment at this year’s Clemmons Community Day includes spoken word artists, the Nationwide NASCAR Show Car and Simulator, and the Title Boxing Club!  Guests can also try out Softgolf, a fun outdoor activity for all ages, skill levels, and abilities!

There will be plenty of food vendors this year, including:

  • Abbott’s Frozen Custard
  • Ava’s Cupcakes
  • Carlos Ramirez Peruvian BBQ
  • Chick-fil-A
  • Food Freaks
  • Good Times Bar-B-Cue
  • Honky Tonk Smokehouse
  • Kona Ice of Kernersville
  • Mediterraneo Pizza & Grill
  • Presto! by Elizabeth’s
  • Sunset Slush
  • Taqueria Luciano
  • Tastes from Scratch
  • The Ice Queen

Visitors will have a chance to meet over 100 vendors, who are excited to share about their businesses and services to the community.

In addition to vendors, Clemmons Community Day offers all kinds of fun and games for families to enjoy, including a rock wall for kids to climb.  A bounce house is always a fun addition, as well as other inflatables, and train rides.

This ten-year tradition is what it’s always been—a labor of love to showcase what is so special about Clemmons.  Clemmons Community Day is made possible by sponsors, volunteers, the YMCA, and civil servants—all who work together to make it a special day!

While the event is free, visitors are encouraged to bring a donation for the Clemmons Food Pantry.  Clemmons Food Pantry always accepts canned and boxed food, but they are also in need of adult hygiene items.
