Jeffrey Adams on Fourth: The Perfect Place to Dine on Prom Night

Prom night is made up of many special events. For example, some high schoolers will be pampered with getting their hair and makeup done and will be treated like celebrities as their families and friends snap pictures. However, before everyone heads off to dance the night away, they need to eat dinner, a memorable dinner, and we have the perfect place for you – Jeffrey Adams on Fourth.

Located in downtown Winston-Salem, Jeffrey Adams on Fourth is known as “an urban restaurant with a modern menu.” Chefs and Owners Adam Andrews and Jeff Bassett bring their expertise from owning and managing The Old Fourth Street Filling Station to Jeffery Adams, making it a place with something for people of all ages.

“Jeffery Adams on Fourth is a great, trendy place,” said Andrews. “Our menu fits everyone’s palate and isn’t expensive. We like to call it ‘great dining at affordable prices.’”

The restaurant offers a wide variety of sandwiches, soups and salads, seafood, beef and pasta dishes for lunch or dinner. There are also vegetarian options. A majority of the items are prepared with fresh, locally grown products from his family farm, Andrews Farm, in King.

“Some of my favorite dishes are the seafood risotto, the four-ounce steak fillet and the crab cake sandwich. As for dessert, I’m a straight-up chocolate lover. You can never go wrong with our brownie and salted caramel ice cream. It is so good. Also, another top dessert for me is our cheesecake,” Andrews stated.

The seafood risotto consists of scallops, lobster and shrimp mixed with smoked Gouda cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and spinach. The crab cake sandwich includes crab, remoulade, lettuce and tomato on a Kaiser roll. Both sound absolutely delicious and are perfect for prom goers.

Along with their well-known menu, Jeffery Adams on Fourth is equipped for hosting large crowds. The restaurant is three-stories and includes dining rooms and a wine cellar in the basement. This basement private dining area can hold up to 30 people. According to Andrews, there is room for groups of up to 70 people.

“We also suggest prom attendees make reservations, especially if there is going to be a large group. On the various prom nights, the reservations go quickly. Sometimes we’ll have parents reserve a spot and go ahead and pay for their child’s dinner. Some will get gift cards for them,” said Andrews.

Reservations can be made online at www.jeffreyadamsws.com or by calling 336.448.1714. Andrews suggests giving yourself enough time to enjoy dinner before going to your prom’s destination. For a couple, set aside an hour. For larger groups, plan for an hour and a half.

“It is always fun seeing the prom dresses and tuxedos. We have students from all schools come for their prom night dinner. The kids come in well-behaved and have a great time,” explained Andrews.

From their diverse menu and perfect environment for hosting events, Jeffery Adams on Fourth is the ideal place for getting a great dinner on prom night. Let Andrews and his staff help make your night to remember a little more special.
