New Year’s Eve is a special time—a time for people to reflect on the year gone by, and hope for the new year that awaits. However you choose to spend New Year’s Eve, you will probably always remember it. For some folks, it’s a special time to get together with friends or make it a date night and go to a nice dinner. And if you’ve been “out and about” in downtown W-S lately, you may have noticed the growing number of restaurant options, both familiar and new.

The Katherine, The Canteen, Alma Mexican, Jeffrey Adams, Hutch & Harris, Footnote Coffee & Cocktails are just a few of the downtown restaurants where locals went and experienced a wonderful meal and were able to ring in 2019. Although downtown is booming, local favorites around town are still as popular as ever. A few that helped patrons bring in the New Year in style were Milner’s, Wine Merchants, Five Points, Roosters (Noble’s Grille), and the Diamondback Grille. Maybe staying home with your family or friends is your cup of tea on New Year’s Eve, and that can be quite special and meaningful, too. Check out a few people doing just that.
