Mar 2022 “From the Heart”

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas! We recently made a family trip to Las Vegas to celebrate my daughter, Briana’s, 30th birthday and what fun we had! In usual Bralley style, we fit all we possibly could into the time we had there! Given the last time we went was more than 20 years ago, this Vegas family trip was a little different than the first. One of our most unusual experiences was our visit to Minus 5 Degrees. A bar made completely out of ice; even the cups you drink out of! Check us out complete with parkas and gloves! The Skywalk at the Grand Canyon and the Seven Magic Mountains were awe-inspiring creations! Dinner at Gordon Ramsay’s Pub & Grill followed by Cirque du Soleil “O” at the Bellagio were a perfect way to spend our last night there. I hope this was a birthday to remember, Bri!

Traveling with our girls over the years has been a wonderful blessing and one I don’t take for granted. We are fortunate that we can discover new places together but, in the end, it’s spending time together that matters most!

The March cover features Calvary Day School. We are blessed to have so many wonderful school choices in our area, and CDS is a great one to check out if you are considering school options! March is our final prom issue installment and our first of three Summer Camp Showcase issues! It’s a great time to start planning an amazing summer for your child! Robin Bralley

Forsyth Family publisher/owner from 2007-2022. She turned over the reins to the very capable Brooke Eagle in 2023 and remains a part of the team as an Account Executive. You’ll also most likely see her stocking magazine racks around town. Robin grew up in Clemmons and has called it home all her life. She has a degree from High Point University and after finding herself downsized from her marketing position in corporate America, Robin joined forces with Forsyth Woman publisher and friend, Keela Johnson to launch Forsyth Family. She and her husband, Tim, have been married for almost 35 years and share two grown daughters, Briana and Morgan, as well as a son-in-law, Briana’s husband, Jonathan and Morgan’s soon to be husband, Deep! She is very excited to welcome her first grandchild in May. Robin and her family are avid music fans and enjoy going to concerts and movies. She loves watching birds on her many backyard feeders and flower gardening. She is an active member of New Day Community Church and feels closest to God on her daily walks at Tanglewood Park with husband Tim. Regarding her favorite thing about Forsyth Magazines, Robin said, “It’s hard to narrow it down to one specific thing, but meeting all of the wonderful people I come in contact with and being a small part of local businesses’ success is top of the list!”
