Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes & Crematory – The Personal Experience Your Family Deserves

Proud of being a vital part of the Winston-Salem community for more than 50 years, Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes & Crematory is the family owned, trusted resource you can count on when your own family is experiencing a difficult loss.

This well-respected tradition of excellence began in 1961 when W. Paul Hayworth and Robert F. Miller purchased Manuel Funeral Home, located on West Fifth Street in downtown Winston-Salem, renaming it Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home. Four years later, Hayworth-Miller relocated to Silas Creek Parkway, respectfully serving local families through the years, while also expanding with convenient locations now in Rural Hall, Lewisville, Advance and Kernersville.

Currently in its second and third generation of owners, the Miller family has a fourth generation ready to follow in their footsteps. Honoring your loved one’s life has always been their top priority, and they offer assistance for traditional services, memorial services and cremation services.

“Hayworth-Miller is known for the genuine care, compassion and attention to detail we offer to the families we serve,” says Marketing Director Sandra Snarski. “We take the time to understand each family’s story and incorporate those details into the service. It is our goal to provide helpful options for families and to assist in making a challenging time as meaningful as possible.”

Continually looking to improve their services even more, all five Hayworth-Miller locations have been pleased to add live-streaming to their menu of options in the past year. Live-streaming is provided free of charge for any family who requests it, whether you’re having a chapel service, church service or graveside service.

“This important service allows loved ones to be part of the ceremony no matter where they are located,” shares Sandra. “Live-streaming videos are also recorded as keepsakes, to be passed down to future generations and viewed together anytime, together as a family.”

As everyone grieves in very different ways, often within very different timeframes, a recorded version of the service also offers a sense of connection and closure – no matter when it’s viewed. When there may be strained family dynamics, it can also offer a more comfortable alternative to gathering with a large group.

While attending a friend or family member’s service in person is always the favored option – where you can be surrounded by love and support – attending in person isn’t always possible due to geographical distance, health issues or confinement to a nursing facility and other circumstances that prevent attendance.

This state-of-the-art live-streaming capability can be a welcome blessing, especially for large families whose relatives may live all over the country. The quality audio and video capabilities offered by Hayworth-Miller feature unique chat options as well, and the service recording can be made as personal as the family chooses.

To bring those close to you together at a time it matters most, consider adding the live-streaming option to any type of service you may have planned with them. You can learn more about their full range of funeral and cremation services by visiting them online at Hayworth-Miller.com.

Convenient, caring and always exceeding expectations in service to families in time of loss, Hayworth-Miller also continues to grow by supporting the community through a variety of local groups and outreach programs.
