Katie recently joined the Forsyth Magazines team as a freelance writer in 2023. Katie is married with two young girls, Brooklyn & Carsyn, and is passionate about helping women and families eat balanced meals with a busy schedule. Katie is a dietitian and lactation consultant working in healthcare for 15 years before switching directions and working in her local church as the Serve Director, helping to meet the needs of the surrounding community. She is also actively working to create a side business to help keep her passion with nutrition and lactation alive! Katie enjoys being active, watching her girls play sports, traveling, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
