On Friday, November 14, 2025, the Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist will host the 21st Annual Cheers! for Brenner Children’s Hospital-this year at a stunning new venue, Legacy Stables in Winston-Salem.
What began as a wine and food tasting has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated events – an evening filled with purpose and celebration. Guests will enjoy a seated dinner, specialty cocktails, and both silent and live auctions, followed by a lively silent disco to close out the night. Throughout the evening, attendees will hear inspiring stories and learn how, together, we’re soaring to new heights in children’s health.

This year’s event is co-chaired by Megan and Tom Lawson and The John Woodard Family – longtime supporters of Brenner Children’s Hospital. Their personal experiences and deep commitment to the hospital’s mission make their leadership especially meaningful.
“Serving as co-chairs for Cheers! is a deeply personal honor for our family. We’ve seen firsthand the extraordinary care Brenner Children’s Hospital provides to this community, not just to the children, but to entire families during their most vulnerable moments. We hope you’ll join us in supporting this vital institution so it can continue offering hope and healing to families for generations to come.”

All proceeds benefit the Brenner Children’s Hospital Fund at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Brenner Children’s Hospital.
Since 2005, Cheers! has raised more than $3 million to support essential services like meals, parking, travel assistance, and comfort therapies including art, music, and pet therapy. These contributions help ease the burden of care for thousands of families each year.

We are grateful to Simply Southern for returning as presenting sponsor, and to our dedicated co-chairs for helping us make this year’s event one to remember.
Please join us for a meaningful and memorable evening in support of our region’s only children’s hospital.
