The bustling – and newest – Stratford Road location, along with smaller destinations in Clemmons, Yadkinville, Mt. Airy and Walkertown, are all operated by members of the first and second generations of the Karagiorgis family. You’ll feel comfortably at home at each restaurant, and the Winston-Salem location – officially dubbed Little Richard’s Smokehouse Bar-N-Que – features a rustic vibe with points of local history adorning the walls as well as the lively conversations among friends!

Owner Stephen Karagiorgis and his sister, Victoria Kaliviotis, are enormously proud to nurture the family business they grew up around and continue to broaden Little Richard’s reach by investing and taking the business to new levels! Stephen has been a big part of Little Richard’s evolution and growth, while Victoria recently joined him to expand and market the catering and events arm of the business.

“BBQ is a local staple and so versatile – it can work for a formal gathering, corporate event, family get together or anything in between,” adds Victoria. “We want to make Little Richard’s your go-to for any of those occasions!”

“We offer customized catering for your individual event,” shares Stephen. “Celebrate with our BBQ and savory sauces (a flavor to suit every palate), and we will deliver right to your location. While our smoked meats may be thought of as a more casual meal, they can easily be elevated to elegance!”

Corporate events for 1,000-plus participants are easily accommodated, or maybe you’re interested in a special delivery to your game-day tailgate! (Hint: Thanks to the richness of Little Richard’s sauces, BBQ holds up surprisingly well for an all day event – always moist and delicious)!

The Stratford Road gathering spot blends all the things regular customers have known and loved from the past – namely the authentic taste of smoked pork, chicken, ribs, sausage and brisket – and blends them with some new, tasty twists, all served in a casual setting that’s both fun and warmly welcoming. Every Little Richard’s classic – and all your favorite smoked meat entrées – are on the extensive menu, including their line-up of eight amazing signature sauces. Their newest flavor sensation, “Whole Lotta” sauce, affectionately named for singer Little Richard’s classic hit tune, “A Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” is already a customer favorite! Relax and enjoy a full bar menu including craft beer and an inviting outdoor patio with TV and comfy space for sports watching. “Our private dining room can seat 50 to 70 guests while our sunroom is a bright space that can accommodate 20 to 25 guests and also opens right onto the outdoor patio, sprinkled with café lighting for evening get togethers,” says Victoria. “We’ve expanded our catering menu to include more event and work-friendly options such as boxed meals and appetizer platters.”

As the holidays approach, there’s no better option for private parties or festive office gatherings than Little Richard’s tradition of meat pulled fresh off smoked shoulders (smoked for 16 hours, the old fashioned way) and taken straight to the chopping block. Create your own customized menu from chopped BBQ, BBQ chicken, smoked wings, brisket or ribs with classic sides that feature BBQ slaw, cole slaw, baked beans, collard greens, green beans, mac & cheese, pinto beans and potato salad. Beverages and desserts are also available, and full service catering includes an onsite staff to serve buffet style.
