Mulligan’s is a new restaurant, open to the public, and located on Bermuda Run Country Club’s second campus, Bermuda Run Country Club West. Their address is 129 Orchard Park Drive in Bermuda Run.
“While the facility has been open since 1999,” said Assistant Food and Beverage Director, Michael Johnson, “We renovated the space in March and have re-christened it as a sports pub. Our guests love it! With the convenient location only minutes away from the original campus and within 15 minutes of Winston-Salem, Mulligan’s is open to the public, but also very popular with our members.”
Mulligan’s is certainly casual dining at its best. With an open dining room with comfortable seating and outdoor dining overlooking the scenic golf course, Mulligan’s is an exceptional way to share a meal with family and friends alike. The décor features local sports memorabilia. A fireplace in the dining room gives the restaurant a homey feel. And Mulligan’s goes the extra mile with the unexpected, including fresh popped popcorn for the tables, a dart board, a shuffleboard table, and nine TVs throughout the dining space.
“We are proud of our family-friendly atmosphere,” stated Michael. “While we have a full-service bar for adult get-togethers, the restaurant and menu are kid-friendly as well.”
Head Chef Tim Thompson has carefully created a menu to appeal to all appetites. The appetizer menu includes traditional sports pub favorites, such as wings, chips and salsa, and pimento cheese and crackers. But their menu also offers options for the more sophisticated palate, such as pork shank lollipops and the customer-favorite, sashimi nachos. Sandwiches, steaks, chicken, and salads are well represented on the menu, as well.
The full bar also features a great selection of beer and wine, with special care to celebrate all that’s great about North Carolina. “We have a number of NC Craft Beers featured,” Michael affirmed.
