“Out and About” in Winston-Salem with Twin City Santa

On Friday, December 1st, over 1200 guests gathered at the historic Millenium Center in downtown Winston-Salem for the 15th-annual Twin City Santa’s “Miracle on Fifth Street.”

Twin City Santa is a 100% non-profit and volunteer-based organization. The Miracle on Fifth Street is a night of fun for a good cause. Twin City Santa welcomes adults to join them by volunteering for, planning, and participating in this annual event. It is a wonderful way to get into the spirit of the season.

Guests were asked to bring an unwrapped toy in addition to their purchased ticket, or alternatively, to pay an additional amount which will be used to purchase toys for kids.

There was amazing live music from Trae Pierce and the T-Stone Band and DJ Hek Yeh for guests to dance and mingle to while enjoying drinks, the raffles, and light hors d’oeuvres that were donated by local businesses.

All toys collected from the event were donated to the Salvation Army of Greater Winston-Salem to support their holiday assistance programs.

Twin City would like to thank their many sponsors and volunteers who helped make the evening a memorable success.
