Though Grassroots Aveda Salon has only been a part of Winston-Salem for a year, it has already made quite a name for itself through fabulously trained and professional stylists who make it their mission to go above and beyond customers’ expectations.

“As a team, we focus on the quality of each service, not necessarily the quantity of services provided,” said Tara Murphy, Assistant Manager of Grassroots. “Each guest has a truly relaxing experience given by our Aveda-trained staff. As an Aveda salon, we offer what we refer to as ‘Value Added Services’ such as scalp, neck and shoulder massages, blue handshakes, hand facials and complimentary make-up refreshers.”

But quality begins long before the doors are open for business, and the team behind Grassroots consists of nothing less than highly trained experts who truly care about each other. “We have an incredible team of individuals that work to make sure every guest looks great walking out of our door and, more importantly, wants to come back,” said Murphy. “We have an ongoing education program consisting of in-salon training, Aveda institute classes and other specialized training. Being part of the beauty industry means being at the forefront of style, and we intend to keep our team up-to-date for our guests.”
