Traditionally, when we think of the hardware store, we think of men like Tim Taylor from the old Tool Time television series, or thoughts of the “helpful hardware man.” It was a place for men to congregate and talk shop. The new Cloverdale Ace Hardware Store, however, introduces a whole new experience to ts customers that is equally enticing to their women customers as well.

Customers know Ace Hardware for its excellent selection of quality items for the ome, garden and do-it-yourself fans out there. Ace is also well known for their high quality customer service, as recognized by their J.D. Power and associates Award the last five years in a row.

At the New Cloverdale Ace Hardware Store, located at the intersection of Cloverdale Avenue and Miller Street in Winston-Salem, co-owners Doug  and Betsy Brown have taken the hardware store experience to a whole new level. Aside from all the wonderful items and helpful service we’ve become used to, the Cloverdale Ace Hardware store combines some very nice added touches. For instance, they offer the Bee’s Nest gifts and more. This mini-store within a store offers an eclectic selection of gifts, novelties, select apparel tees, must-have sports tail-gating items, and many more choices to enjoy by simply browsing through. Right now you can’t avoid being filled with holiday cheer, as the front of the store is transformed into a Christmas showroom. Whimsical colored Christmas trees, garlands, wreaths, stockings and hundreds of ornaments and holiday décor will be sure to provide easy holiday gift-giving ideas! With the addition of the Bee’s Nest, Doug and Betsy show their commitment to providing a fine selection of much needed and -wanted items covering high-end brands like Benjamin Moore paint, Weber grills, Husqvarna power equipment, Craftsman tools and, of course, Ace’s own excellent line of products—all within an environment that is a pleasure to shop in.
