It has become very clear in recent years that things just are not made the way they used to be. Cars crumble in accidents, phones “die” after only two ears, furniture falls apart unless you spend an arm and a leg, and cookie-cutter homes that look like they were built in a day seem to be sprouting up like weeds in some areas. Fortunately, there are still businesses out there that believe in quality over quantity, and one of the best examples can be found annually at the Home Builders’ Association Fall Parade of Homes.

Like every event in which the Home Builders’ Association takes part, those in attendance see nothing but the best in home construction and remodeling. One of the biggest elements in making sure you get exactly what you are looking for with guaranteed quality is by choosing a real professional, and what better way to find that professional than at a recently built home on the Parade? “When planning construction on your new home or remodeling projects for your current home, choose professional,” said Megan Parks, Director of Operations and member Services. “The Home Builders’ Association of Winston-Salem’s (HBAWS) general contractors are licensed and insured, plus they are required to complete ours of continuing education annually. Building suppliers and service providers work closely with our builder members to provide the latest supplies, products and services for new construction and remodeling projects.” As is the case every year, the HBAWS chooses a builder for the showcased Fall association Home. This year’s pick, Buck Horn Construction, offers remarkable finishes and style with the tagline, “If you can dream it, we can build it.”
